Admissions Department Manager

As Maker Learning Network’s Admissions Department Manager, Kristan Van Houten works cross collaboratively with the Admissions and Communications team to engage interested families in street to seat connection. She develops marketing and community partnership objectives by forecasting growth needs and fulfillment of projected enrollment and new school development. Kristan coordinates the Marketing, Creative Services, PR and Digital teams to exceed communication standards for our member network. She provides coaching and support for admissions procedures, developing parent teams, touring best practices and the new enrollee process supporting both family and program.

Kristan has been a facilities project manager, office manager, community outreach coordinator and marketing manager. As a believer of “making it better,” Kristan’s goal is to help every learner find their best fit in our programs to support their social, emotional and educational growth.
