And, here are just a few of the many areas where Maker Learning Network adds value to partner organizations:

  • Using the country’s best economic minds and state-of-the-art technologies, our financial and back-office services are unmatched. We work tirelessly with our partners on budget planning and forecasting, and help ensure our partners remain solidly in compliance with evolving local, state and federal policy. And, we hold our partners accountable and help reinforce the guardrails to ensure they are free to innovate while abiding by all guidelines.
  • Similarly, our governance, leadership, board support and employee services offerings are critical to the success of our partners. Board members, directors and managers will come and go within a partner’s organization, but continuity of service and maintaining the culture is absolutely vital to our partners’ success. The culture of a school, camp or program doesn’t magically appear — it must be nurtured with consistency and without allowing turnover to make a significant impact. The network has a pipeline of talent and we are constantly recruiting to ensure vacancies at all levels are filled quickly while identifying outstanding people within our collaborative systems. We also have deep contacts with educational thought leaders from around the world who add tremendous value in board and leadership seats. The network also provides regular training and advocacy, and an annual retreat for board members and leaders to ensure open communication around best practices.
  • With decades of experience on our executive team, we offer the collective experience of highly trained educators to provide partners with instructional services. The team has spent years crafting the Maker Method and learned from extensive trial and error, and we offer program assessment tools at every level — for learners, staff and the overall well-being of schools and programs. Importantly, our approach includes Social-Emotional Learning in everything we do, making us one of the nation’s trendsetters in this space.
